Agency Issues Ebola Warnings The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued guidelines to airlines in response to the Ebola outbreak that has killed more than 800 people in western Africa. People exposed to the disease are asked not to travel for 21 days, and the C.D.C. suggests that airlines consider using their legal authority to deny boarding to sick passengers suspected of carrying the virus. The C.D.C. has also advised Americans to avoid nonessential travel to Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, the three countries most affected by the outbreak. (The New York Times)
