The rugged and the refined meet in the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, which turns 30 this year. The 11-day affair, taking place Sept. 3 to 14 in Jackson, Wyo., features over 50 events, ranging from studio demonstrations, artist receptions, auctions and gallery walks to ranch tours that culminate in a barbecue, an outdoor food fair and a tour of local homes.
The overlapping Western Design Conference, Sept. 4 to 7, focuses on western-made or -themed furniture, fashion and accessories, including custom cowboy boots, bicycles made of wood and handmade saddles.
